One plan for surgery and the final teeth
Losing most or all teeth does not mean treatment starts by choosing an implant count. Full-arch rehabilitation connects the intended tooth positions, available bone, implant distribution, prosthetic design, cleaning access and chewing forces. The surgical and restorative stages are planned together.
What is full-arch implant treatment?
A group of implants supports a restoration for an arch with all or most teeth missing. Implant number and distribution are not fixed for every patient: bone, jaw shape, bite, restorative space, the final design and general health all matter. Remaining teeth should be assessed before extraction is considered.
What does computer-guided mean?
Three-dimensional imaging and records of the teeth and tissues can be combined to plan implant positions digitally. When appropriate, a surgical guide helps transfer that plan to the mouth. The computer does not perform the operation; the clinician evaluates and carries out the plan.
Why begin with the final teeth?
An implant needs to support the restoration as well as occupy suitable bone. Planning the teeth first helps the team examine screw access, force distribution, material space, tooth appearance and access for daily cleaning.

Is computer-guided treatment suitable for every case?
No. Data quality, mouth opening, guide stability, bone availability and additional procedures influence the choice. The approach should be selected for the individual clinical and restorative requirements.
Does it mean no pain or complications?
No. Guided surgery supports planning and execution but cannot guarantee an outcome. Discomfort, swelling, infection, implant failure and prosthetic complications remain possible and should be discussed during assessment.
Can I have teeth on the same day?
Early fixed temporary teeth may be possible in selected cases. Implant stability and distribution, the provisional design and the bite must meet clinical requirements. Another patient may need a delayed pathway or a removable temporary option.
Where digital prosthetics fits
Digital scans, Exocad, CAD/CAM, multi-unit abutments and titanium frameworks may be selected to turn the implants into functional, maintainable teeth. These are tools within the plan; no patient automatically needs every technology or component.
Fixed, removable and long-term care
A fixed restoration is not the only option. Removable designs may offer practical advantages for cleaning or facial support in some cases. Every design needs daily cleaning, professional review and a plan for repair or component maintenance.

Is guided surgery suitable for every case?
No. Examination, record quality, guide stability and the procedures required determine suitability.
Can temporary teeth be fitted immediately?

Does the computer replace clinical experience?
No. Diagnosis, imaging interpretation, safety checks and changes to the plan remain the clinician's responsibility.
